Out there somewhere

With a voice like sand paper

A heart full of love

full of fear

You sing of life

its secrets and scars

raw and yet hopeful

Your voice, a beer-soaked lament

echoes truths the world ignores

of lonely souls and broken dreams

Rocker - out there somewhere

in the dark your legend is engraved

We raise a glass to grating chords

the stories that leave scars

No polished anthems

only raw despair

of a beauty only found in deep shadows

You sing to those the world drives away

while night owls in the gutter

sleep their intoxication

Henk’s Anthem

Your voice, a rusty mournful cry

a symphony of grit and pain

Smoky nights where shadows dance

like falling rain

You weave a tapestry of sin

where hearts are lost and minds fray

But in the rubble

you find a spark

a flicker that refuses to fade

Rocker - out there somewhere

your spirit fills every ragged soul

We let the music roarT

he anthem of a rebel

No polished veneer

no empty lies

only honesty that stings and burns

You give voice to the fate of outcasts

a fire that forever longs

The world may never understand the beauty of broken things

but you embrace the cracks and flaws

and make a crown to which sorrow clings

You have taught us that

the darkest nights contain

a light we cannot ignore

a proof of human truth

under a tear-stained painted sky

Rocker - out there somewhere

your legend lives in our souls

We sing your songs with hoarse voices

a legacy that makes us whole

No sweet verse

only primal screams

You hold up a mirror to our hearts

always sharp

You sing of redemption at the bottom of the glass

of finding some solace

even as those moments pass

The music may fade

the lights may dim

Your echo lingers

a haunting anthem

A rocker remembered, an untold legend

Your voice may be quiet now

your story unfolding

Let us drink a final glass, my friend

to the rocker lost and found again

Your legend lives on forever in the glorious raw sound

Thanks for living a piece of Tom Waits and Arno.

See you on the other side
